How it works
The service answers one question: is it safe to send USDT to this address or accept it from there. To do that it checks the address against several sources and explains what it found in plain language.
Where the data comes from
The sources the check relies on.

What is checked
- Service labels. Imported labels for the address and counterparties also affect the score; they are not official sanctions.
- Sanctions. Whether the address is matched by OFAC or the configured OpenSanctions screening.
- Freeze. Whether Tether has blocked USDT on the address.
- Connections. Whether any of the wallets the address exchanged USDT with are sanctioned or frozen. The blacklist is checked for the largest counterparties.
- Behaviour. Address age, pass-through movement of funds, address-poisoning attempts in the history.
How the score is calculated
Each finding has a weight: serious — 90, warning — 45 or 15, note — 0. The final score is the weight of the most serious finding plus 15% of the rest, capped at 100. Levels: 0–34 low risk, 35–69 medium, 70–100 high.
Imported service labels are separate from official sanctions. An address match contributes a high finding (90); a labelled counterparty with at least 1 USDT in the window contributes a medium finding (45). Labels do not independently establish ownership or wrongdoing. Reports may be cached for 5 minutes; recheck bypasses that cache after a 20-second minimum interval. Snapshot time is not an exact timestamp for every upstream response.
Low risk does not mean “the address is definitely clean”. It means no medium or high risk level was found within the stated scope; minor warnings may remain. A scammer can use a fresh address with no history. For a large amount, always start with a small test transfer.
What the service does not do
- It does not independently establish wallet ownership. It displays entity attribution and relationships recorded by its sources.
- It does not give legal opinions and does not replace the checks that licensed organisations are required to perform.
- It sends nothing to the checked address and does not notify its owner.
